Delhi Auto Expo 2012 to
see 55 new car launches
Despite the market slowdown and the eventual fall in sales,
Indian automotive OEMs are quite optimistic about the growth potential and have
lined up as many as 55 new car launches during the Delhi Auto Expo 2012
happening at Pragati Maidan in early January next year, writes Sharmistha
Mukherjee in a BS report.
The last edition of the exposition which was held in 2010
featured as many as 50 new car launches including ten global debuts, says the
report. But, the sales growth back then was impressive. The show itself is
getting bigger. There will be in excess of 50 participants at January’s auto
expo against 42 the last time, noted the report.
